Join Mile High Mahj for a relaxed, beginner-friendly league designed to build confidence, familiarity, and flow at the table. PS: We're the only league with a beginner option! When: Tuesdays, October 27, Nov 3, 10, 17 Time: 6:00–8:00 PM Where: Olive & Finch Golden Triangle, near the Denver Art Museum This Beginner (Green) League is perfect for players who know how to play, but are still learning the game—no pressure, just practice and fun. What to expect - Play using the 2025 NMJL card - This year, we are going to teach you how to take score, as good practice. However, this league is still for beginners and will focus primarily on getting better at the game and repetition - No time limits on games - Every time you Mahjong, you’ll be entered to win a grand prize Space is limited. FAQS: Q: What if I cant make each session? A: We highly encourage you to sign up if you can come all four weeks, however, if there is a week you are unable to make it, we ask that you work to find your own sub. If you cannot find your own sub, you are required to fill out te sub form a week in advance so we can find a sub for you. You may only have a sub 2 times per season. Any no-shows will result in removal from the league, same-day cancels will result in a $20 cancellation fee. Q: What if I have to come late to a league night? A: Unfortunately being late is not allowed. We know life is busy, but this is a commitment that impacts every single person in the league. If you know you can't make it on time, we suggest waiting until we hold another league. Q: What is your refund policy? A: We will allow refunds 14 days prior to league kick off. After that no refunds or credits will be given Q: Are there prizes? A: Mile High Mahjong is very generous with prizes. We hand out mini prizes each week and a grand prize at the end for our top scorers. Ultimately, we just want everyone to have fun. Mile High Mahjong was built to be a place where everyone is welcome, no matter skin color, eye color, hair color, sexual preference, political preference, clothing, and so on. If we hear complaints about bad sportsmanship, mean or unkind comments, or rudeness, we will give you a warning. If there is a second complaint or observation, you will be removed from the league permanently.
