Join Mile High Mahj for an Advanced league designed for players who are a bit more competitive or who want to challenge themselves with 15-minute games. While competitive, this league is still designed to be friendly. When: Tuesdays, October 27, Nov 3, 10, 17 Time: 6:00–8:00 PM Where: Olive & Finch Golden Triangle, near the Denver Art Museum This Advanced (Black) League is for experienced players who are comfortable completing a game in ~15 minutes and are ready for friendly competition. What to expect - Play using the 2025 NMJL card - Scored play throughout the league - Ladder-style format: you’ll compete individually and be matched each week with players who had similar scores the previous session - 8 games in 2 hours each night Prizes for the first-place finisher after three weeks—plus a few surprises along the way. Space is limited FAQS: Q: What if I cant make each session? A: We highly encourage you to sign up if you can come all four weeks, however, if there is a week you are unable to make it, we ask that you work to find your own sub. If you cannot find your own sub, you are required to fill out the sub form a week in advance so we can find a sub for you. You may only have a sub 2 times per season. Any no-shows will result in removal from the league, same-day cancels will result in a $20 cancellation fee. Q: What if I have to come late to a league night? A: Unfortunately being late is not allowed. We know life is busy, but this is a commitment that impacts every single person in the league. If you know you can't make it on time, we suggest waiting until we hold another league. Q: What is your refund policy? A: We will allow refunds 14 days prior to league kick off. After that no refunds or credits will be given Q: Are there prizes? A: Mile High Mahjong is very generous with prizes. We hand out mini prizes each week and a grand prize at the end for our top scorers. Ultimately, we just want everyone to have fun. Mile High Mahjong was built to be a place where everyone is welcome, no matter skin color, eye color, hair color, sexual preference, political preference, clothing, and so on. If we hear complaints about bad sportsmanship, mean or unkind comments, or rudeness, we will give you a warning. If there is a second complaint or observation, you will be removed from the league permanently.
