Event Details
Learn to Play American Mahjong at Tumble Haus in LoHi. This is an adults-only event, even though Tumble Haus is a family play cafe where kids can play and parents can connect. Tumble Haus serves wine and coffee. You'll walk away (full), but also knowing: - The basic structure and goal of an American Mahjong game - Ability to identify and organize the tiles - How to read and interpret the NMJL card - The rhythm of the game, including Charleston and wall building - Leave with the confidence to play in a casual setting or join a beginner-friendly game Includes the mandatory 2025 NMJL card ($15). Lessons are 2.5 hours. *Price does not include food or drink

Cancellation Policy
As you know, in Mahjong it's important to have a full house and we work very hard to make sure our tables are full. We allow cancellations and refunds 7 days prior to the event. After 7 days, there are no refunds, but you may receive a credit for a future event. If you cancel 48 hours before the event your credit is forfeited and there is no refund. If you no show, (rsvp but do not show up and do not notify us that you can't come) there is a fee of $20.
